TLI Multimedia: Team and Process

Underlying our extensive skill set is a proven development process that draws upon the strengths of each team member. The depth and breadth of our multimedia expertise uniquely position us to provide end-to-end educational solutions to the Carolina campus, and beyond. The results—multimedia products that engage, excite, and educate.

ADDIE Process

TLI Process Statement
Creating effective instructional multimedia products requires a careful blend of creative ideas, quality content, team collaboration, and a proven process. From its inception, the TLI multimedia team has known that a sustainable and flexible production process is the foundation for future growth and success.

The TLI process, using the instructional design ADDIE approach, is based on multimedia and project management industry standards, as well as “lessons learned” from collaboration with UNC-Chapel Hill faculty.

Every creative project is different, so our development process is flexible, yet consistent, resulting in high-quality, instructionally sound products that reflect the university’s commitment to instructional excellence.

Project Team
The TLI multimedia team is comprised of project managers, producers, instructional designers, design leads, technical leads, and media developers. Team members apply their business experience to the academic arena to ensure that products meet educational standards and project goals.

Stakeholders
For our projects, stakeholders are the individuals actively involved in the project whose interests may be affected as a result of our work. TLI typically has internal stakeholders (e.g. ITS executive management and project team members) and external stakeholders (e.g. client executive management and faculty members).  Stakeholders are included in project communications and key decisions.
